Description

There are multiple “cores” in the body. The one core that all the others work off of is the abdominal core. This class will be using scientifically based exercises to focus on the strength, stability, and mobility of the abdominal and hip musculature. Unlike most core workouts that put a lot of pressure through the lower back, (i.e. – crunches and sit-ups) increasing your likelihood for back problems, these core class exercises are designed to strengthen the back and abdominal core. The end of every session will also include working on proper diaphragmatic breathing. This will lead to a direct increase in stamina due to the increased oxygen available to your muscles. The goal for this class is to teach your body how to become more efficient and increase endurance through any athletic endeavor you choose. With more efficiency and endurance come better performance, and more importantly less injury.

Classes will be held weekly, starting Monday, January 22nd and ending on Monday, February 26th. Classes will be held for approximately 50 minutes.

Please be sure to come in active attire. A 5-10 Ib. weight and yoga mat are encouraged. Yoga mats are available for purchase at the store.

There are two options for payment - online by purchasing one of our ticket selections or in the store.

  • A class card consists of 6 classes and costs $60.00
  • A drop in class costs $15.00 - Please select the date that you will be attending.
