Event description

Description

On July 31st my son was brutally murdered in the Johnson Village Manor. I'm going to first start off with giving you a small Bio on him.

Mr. Antoneo Rashad Hampton was born April 5, 1987 in Orlando, Florida. He attended Orange Center Elementary School where he received the Dreamers Doers Awards. Antoneo Enjoyed playing sports. He participated in basketball and football leagues throughout Carver Middle School and Jones High School. He was a very loving child and kept everyone laughing. He was a member of Mt.Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. J.F. Hargrett. He was a loving father and brother.

On Friday, July 31, 2015, Antoneo "Poochie" Hampton went home to be with the lord. I truly thank God he decided to change his life around. He was loved by many and showed love and respect to the community. He has gone on to be with his father Ulysses Wiggins, grandmother Mattie Hampton, and his sister Tiffany S. Morris.

On August 8, 2015 the lord dropped in my spirit to start a foundation in my son and nephew's name they both were murdered to gun violence. I have been looking at how many families who have suffered from the senseless murder ordeal in the city of Orlando. So by me running a nonprofit organization called The Robbins House of Restoration and Reconciliation I decided to start this foundation and attached to my outreach.

The Purpose of the Foundation

We will examine the impact on violence.
This foundation will teach children how to settle and argument with words and not guns.
We will get involve with schools on how to make them safer and better.
We will put on rallies.
Teach people that it's ok to report what you see and let you know you are not a snitch.
We will reach out our young people.
Reach out to parents.
Make sure our streets and homes are well- lighted up.
We will build a partnership with police and focus on solving problems instead of reacting to crisis.
Reach out to social services to prevent violence before it starts.
We will do candlelight vigils.
We will pay special visits to families that are grieving.
We will raise money so we can be able to assist families who don't have insurance.

In conclusion we have tutoring, self betterment programs, we will have mocked interviews, start a basketball team and football team, cheerleading and helping them fill out job and housing application. My goal is to travel and speak out about gun violence. I will be having monthly meeting different in different areas in Orlando to see what the need is to help keep the violence. I will be reaching out to the Orlando Police Department, and Orange County Sheriff department. We will help children develop empathy conscience, make sure they are getting attention at home and school. Help them build self esteem, show them how to avoid harsh punishment, and learn calming techniques.

In conclusion I'm asking for donations and sponsorship so that I can get this foundation up and running we need to find a way to reach out in the community. I have reached out to many families but they have not responded do to the fact that they are afraid that the murderers will come back an attack there family and friends. I will be putting on several events to get this foundation up and running. Here are some of the events we will be doing fashion shows football and basketball games. A Banquet in remembrance of all the senseless murders, and candlelight vigils. This is just a little bit of what we are going to be doing. Dates of each event will be posted soon. We thank you in advance.

Sincerely; Helen Robbins
