Copy of Genscape Rig Site Tour & BBQ May 17 2013
Friday, May 17, 2013 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (CDT)
Sugar Land, TX
Due to inclement weather, the rig's arrival has been delayed. Therefore, we will have to move the rig tour until Friday, May 17th. Please update your RSVP to confirm you can still make it.
As a valued client of Genscape's, we cordially invite you to join us for an exciting day of touring at a nearby oil and gas rig site. The group will meet around 7 AM on Friday, May 17th at Genscape's Sugar Land office. We will all board a bus and drive to Waelder, TX to tour the rig site and we may even have the opportunity to tour the rig floor. The rig is located in Gonzales County, where some of the most productive wells in the Eagle Ford Shale are located; there are currently 20 rigs running in the county, with EOG operating the majority of them.
Details on touring the rig floor are still being worked out, but if you are interested in this activity, you must wear steel-toed shoes. Genscape will provide a hard hat and fire-retardant clothing, though if you have your own, we encourage you to bring it along.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided, so make sure you come hungry! After the tour we will enjoy a BBQ lunch and head back to the office by 3PM.
