Join fans from all over the Crimson Nation in cheering on the team in the heart of Big Orange Country. Sing “Yea Alabama” with the Million Dollar Pep Band. Cheer “Roll Tide Roll” with the Bama cheerleaders and Big Al as you cruise on a riverboat through the Volunteer Navy gathered on the Tennessee River just across from Neyland Stadium.
Free Blue Moon and Bud Light beer for those of age, soft drinks and bottled water for the rest, and crunchy snacks. Cash bars will also be open. You can get barbeque box dinners for $6.00.
About the most fun a Bama fan can have in Knoxville. Except for when we “go, roll to victory” the next day.
Come early for a rare opportunity in this neck of the woods to get the latest Bama merchandise from Tide Treasures and Alabama Fan Shop (Bama Fever.com). By special arrangement, a part of every dollar goes directly to help fund scholarships for deserving students to attend the University of Alabama.
The East Tennessee Chapter of the University of Alabama Alumni Association (ETUA) brings together alumni and friends of the University living in the Greater Knoxville area. We hold monthly meetings, typically at Cherokee Country Club. Bama-minded folks are welcome. We communicate with a discussion group. If you'd like to join, contact Don Barksdale (email@example.com). You can also follow us on Facebook (link below).
ETUA has been active for more than six decades. We relish the camaraderie of other Bama-minded folks and enthusiastically cheer on the teams dressed in crimson and white. But nothing so characterizes our chapter as scholarship. We raise funds for scholarship, tell prospective area students about the high-caliber academics at an esteemed University a bit southwest of here, and award new scholarships each year to incoming freshmen. In recent years, those awards have amounted to about $40,000 per school year.
