Coping with excessive workload in the charity sector - new research

About this event

In this webinar we will be releasing two new pieces of research into workload commissioned by Blume.

The first brings together experiences and resources for managing workload from the private sector and public sector. Nicola Hardy, Blumer and professional researcher, completed the project and will present the findings.

For the second piece of research, Blumer D'Arcy Myers, who himself has been chief executive of thirteen charities, interviewed a dozen charity ceos to find out how they cope with excessive workload. D'Arcy will present the report whics covers issues including:

How do you know when your workload is excessive?

How do you prioritise - and not feel bad about saying no?

How do you identify and support over-worked members of staff?

How do you look after yourself?

What advice would you give over-worked charity staff who don't have strong leadership?

It will be a 45 minute session over zoom with opportunities for questions and comments. Please join us!
