The 24th Conference of Parties (COP 24) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Katowice is a crucial moment for governments to adopt the guidelines for the effective implementation of the Paris Agreement. In the framework of COP24, this interfaith gathering is aimed at serving as a platform for faith communities attending the COP to share their initiatives, concerns, and hopes in the work for climate justice in the framework of the Talanoa Dialogue.
What we will do:
- A panel to briefly highlight the topics available for discussion
- Small-group Talanoa sharing where participants will be able to exchange perspectives and thoughts
- A plenary discussion bringing together the conclusions of the small-group dialogues
