Presentation Summary:

The Michigan ACE Initiative, together with Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, Ingham invite you to a screening of the award-winning documentary. RESILIENCE: THE BIOLOGY OF STRESS & THE SCIENCE OF HOPE chronicles the birth of a new movement among pediatricians, therapists, educators & communities who are using cut­ting-edge brain science to disrupt cycles of violence, addiction & disease. Learning Objectives:

* Creating statewide awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s)

* Awareness of developing recommendations of appropriate interventions and state policy

* Awareness of the new State Medicaid policy that enables the use of the ACE screening tool as Children receive health screenings and services.


This Coordination of Care Presentation is an Educational Series for Primary Care and Mental Health Providers. The dinner/presentation event is FREE. When registering, please include the names of attendees along with credentials (including license number for nurses) and any special dietary or other accommodations that you may require.
