Event description
Bring your kids in to the kitchen and learn some exciting international recipes!

About this Event

With so much time at home, now is an awesome time to try out a new recipe or two — especially one from another culture! Join us for an online cooking class and follow step-by-step instructions to make tasty appetizers, dinners and desserts.

Join us as we take a trip to Asia and the Pacific through our tastebuds! Chef Tom and his assistant will demonstrate how to make a full course international meal.

1. Chicken adobo from the Philippines

Adobo is a really delicious food from the Philippines. It’s made with either pork or chicken, and it’s in a sauce that’s a little tart and tangy because of vinegar. Typically eaten over rice.

2. Fried rice from Thailand

3. Kaukau from Papua New Guinea

A traditional sweet potato dish that's boiled in coconut milk.

4. Coconut cake from Vanuatu

Coconut is a popular fruit in Vanuatu, and since Vanuatu is made up of tropical islands, there’s probably a lot of it! If you like coconut, then you’re sure to love this coconut cake.

Ingredients for your dishes will be emailed to you as a confirmation email upon purchase of a ticket. The cooking class will be recorded and sent to you to do at the event time, or any time after as well. Select the date that works best for you, and watch the class when you have the time to make these delicious dishes!
