Hello! Thank you for taking the time to check out our cooking class.
My name is Courtnay and I am a trained Functional Medicine Health Coach and I alongside, Executive Chef Leon McIntyre, will be running a series of cooking classes.
Food is a powerful tool for your health and under utilized in our modern world to help you and your family feel your best. In these classes, we will be cooking with seasonal and local produce as the availability allows.
Through these cooking classes, we will help you learn basic cooking skills and how you can choose foods to support your health. Home cooking doesn't need to be difficult, expensive or laborious and we will show you how you can make this a part of daily life.
In the spirit of the upcoming holiday season, we will be preparing an alternative to the traditional turkey dinner in our first class. The class will be an active demonstration with you having the option to join us in the cooking process and will finish off with a home cooked meal to enjoy.
Menu :
- Bacon wrapped stuffed turkey breast
- Roasted root vegetables
- Winter greens
- Rosemary and garlic gravy
The class will take place Sunday, November 27th from 2 to 4pm at the Victoria Public Market Community Kitchen in Downtown Victoria, BC.
