About this event

Summer is in full swing, with Farmer's Markets and CSA stalls bursting with some of the best produce of the year!

Have you ever skipped over veggies at the farmer's market because you didn't know how to prepare them, or even what they were? Maybe you've found yourself underutilizing your weekly CSA delivery. It has happened to all of us. You don't have to miss out on these amazing local flavors!

Chef Alexis, founder and Head Chef of Farm to Feast will teach us how to prepare several dishes using June's finest harvest and offer tips on how to use many of the items that are available now. For this interactive / zoom class, she will be utilizing all of the fresh produce available in this week's 4P Foods produce box.

We'll also take you on a virtual trip to 4P Foods, a Virginia-based online grocer, to learn what is in season, and how to take advantage of the Mid-Atlantic growing season.

We will provide an ingredient list, in case you would like to cook along with Chef Alexis, and if you would like to receive the same featured ingredients that Alexis is utilizing, be sure to select the VIP ticket level which includes a 4PFoods Produce Bag. The bag can be picked up from Mess Hall any time before class on June 24th from 8am-5pm.

This will be a recurring class, highlighting the best that our area farmers have to offer!
