Join GrowNYC Education, Edible Schoolyard NYC, and Queens Botanical Garden, as we present ways to teach science, social studies, ELA, and math in the school garden. We'll take a deep dive into core content for grades K -12 and explore concrete examples of how to incorporate the lessons in a fun, engaging, and garden related way with students. This workshop is great for formal and informal educators who want to teach curricular standards in the school garden or outdoor learning space. GrowNYC school garden coordinator, Jinky, ESNYC educators Liza & Eliza, and QBG educators, Jasmin & Rachel, are hosting this in-person workshop at PS 7 in Harlem.
