Join us in the salud kitchen with local culinary artist, Cathy Barrow. Cathy's personal chef and catering business utilize simple ingredients to create gourmet dishes. Cathy tinkers in dairy culture and this class will teach you the how to's of making homemade Milk Kefir and Ricotta Cheese. She'll start with a simple cultured Milk Kefir and transform it into a Kefir Cheese you can use for dips, desserts and more. Learn how to make Ricotta and turn this sweet creamy cheese it into pillowy Ricotta Gnocchi with a Homemade Red Sauce. See you there!!!
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
There are no age requirements to attend a cooking class, however we will occasionally serve alcohol in our cooking school and valid I.D. will be required to consume any alcoholic beverage in the Salud room. You may also purchase wine or beer from Whole Foods Market Fresno and bring into the classroom, as long as you have a valid I.D. Under no circumstances will outside alcoholic beverages be allowed in Whole Foods Market Fresno. Receipt of purchase may be requested.

If for some reason, we cannot obtain certain ingredients, we may substitute something different, but of the same quality and value.
What's the refund policy?
A full refund can be issued if requested AT LEAST 24 HOURS prior to the class. Under no cirucumstances will a transfer or refund be issued without 24 hours notice - no exceptions! However, we will accept a name transfer if you would like to fill your slot in the class with a friend, family member, or colleague.
