BREAD AND BEER, THE POWER OF YEAST! *

With Chef Sam Hunt

Wednesday, March 27th 6:30 to 8:30 PM

An introductory class to yeast, the fermentation process, and how yeast works. We will make a variety of doughs to take home, including brioche and pretzel dough, as well as baguettes bake in class. After baking, we will head across the street to Notch Brewery and enjoy their fermented products along with your own hand-crafted sandwiches on the freshly baked bread.

Ticket price includes the class fee, all materials, and one beverage at Notch. The class will be held in the Root Kitchen, Shetland Park, 35 Congress Street, Suite 2350, Salem, MA 01970.
