Cooking Up Trouble Camps are held in the home of and taught by Ms. Mandy, a homeschool mama of three and home cook who has completed many advanced cooking courses, managed professional kitchens, and has received training (in France! Ooh la la!) from a professional pastry chef. Ms. Mandy is the proud owner of more than fifty Ribbons, mostly Blue, from State Fairs in Tennessee, and has a passion for teaching children to be confident in the kitchen and in life!

Mandy is background-checked through her volunteer position as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. In the 2019-2020 school year, she is slated to teach cooking and literature courses each week at the Christian Educational Cooperative. She and her husband also teach Sunday School to the 16-18 year-old youth at church, each of whom love to try out her recipes! Her husband, Klayton, is a French professor and PhD. candidate at the University of Tennessee, and is background checked through his volunteer service with the BSA.
