9/26/17- Beef- cooking bone-in and boneless beef. caribbean style steak salad, classic beef tenderloin, braised beef short ribs

10/10/17- Poultry- learn how to make chicken stock, whole roasted chicken, pan sear and oven method for chicken breast and thighs and how to recycle leftover chicken with an easy and delicious chicken salad

10/24/17- Italian Staples- learn how to make fresh pasta, potato gnocchi, polenta, fresh ricotta, pesto, vanilla affogato

11/7/17- Versatile "Sauces"- learn how to make and pair classic sauces and more. bechamel, veloute, tomato, hollandaise, pan sauce, vinaigrette, chocolate ganache

11/28- Fish- we will prepare a white ocean fish, fatty ocean fish, freshwater fish and shellfish

Cooking 101 classes are designed to cover each topic in depth while giving you the opportunity to also practice basic cooking techniques such as measuring, chopping, sauteeing, braising, roasting, sauce making and many more. Each classes is centered around a theme that is then explored in its many possible form in the kithen. Chef Patty will ensure that you leave each class more confident and capable.

The Mad Table's pride is in having each student involved while having fun and learning to love their food- come ready to cook and eat!

All adult classes are BYOB.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Evening classes are designed for adults and because we have a BYOB option, we require registrants to be at least 21 years old.

What are my parking options?

The Mad Table cookig classes are at a private residence, there is limited parking at the front and there is a school 1/2 a block away on 52 Terrace with plenty of parking.

What can I bring into the event?

Your own bottle of wine, unless otherwise noted.

Is there a dress code?

We recommend wearing close-toed shoes and avoiding long sleeves if possible for safety.

What's the cancellation policy?

Classes are non-refundable within a 30 day window. Might you need to cancel your registration in advance of 72 hours before a class date, you can transfer to another class at a future date. Due to the detail and planning involved with cooking workshops, no refunds or transfers will be given on classes that are cancelled less than 72 hours prior to the class. Alternatively, if there is someone that wants to take your place in the class for which you are registered, you can contact us to give us their name (you will not be refunded.) To cancel please call us at 305-798-5867 or email info@themadtable.com. The Mad Table reserves the right to cancel a class that fails to attract sufficient enrollment or at our discretion. In the event of a cancellation on our behalf, we will contact you by email or telephone and issue a full refund or you may request to be transferred to another class of your choice (depending on availability)

Is my registration fee transferrable?

If there is someone that wants to take your place in the class for which you are registered, you can contact us to give us their name (you will not be refunded.)
