Event description

Description

Are you a poet, writer, or artist? A developer, designer, or entrepreneur? If you love poetry, tech, or the combination of the two, come join us for an evening of networking, conversation, and free food!

Founders of Trūbadour, an emerging poetry startup, will co-host the event, and a panel of talented Boston poets will give first-hand perspectives on the modern poetry landscape. We’ll blend Q&A, presentation, and group brainstorming to explore trends in online publication, challenges with “submission” and contest models, platforms for other creative media, and new directions for how poets may publish and readers may find poems.

We think poetry is underrated in today’s apps-and-services world, and we’re passionate about leveraging technology to help connect contemporary poets and their readers like never before.

Come help us think of new ways to find your next favorite poem -- and pave a new direction for poetry!

Sponsored by CIC Boston, this event is free and open to the public. Space is limited; RSVP recommended. See you there!

Access to the Anchor room is through the cafe on the ground floor; there will be a registration table in the lobby of the building for check-in and assistance.
