Event description

Description

Come gather with us. We are buidling a community of black women who want to connect with others like them and not like them. We can all learn from each other. Tribe of Sunflowers presents monthly meet ups for black women who are:

  • Business owners

  • Creatives

  • Artists

  • Tech Queens

  • Social Media Influencers

  • Hair Stylists

  • Makeup Artist/Lash Techs

  • Teachers

  • Coaches

  • Activists

  • etc

As you may or may not know:

Our ultimate goal is to secure a facility to open a black owned and operated co-working space for black women in the community. The connections must begin now.

We meet the last Sunday of every month starting in May 2019 (Please keep an eye out for location changes).

We welcome black women to safe spaces. Created for us by us. Providing the necessary tools and resources for self care, business, and community.

We simply ask you to RSVP so we can have an idea of who and how many will be attending. There are often goodies and we don't want to leave anyone out. If you want to show up just to study, take notes, or interact thats fine will us. No dress code for this. Comfort is key.

Bring you laptops, homework, smiles, questions, and knowledge for an afternoon with black creatives. You never know who will be attending so don't miss out. We are right in your backyard.
