Do you wish you could casually communicate in basic Spanish with your friends, coworkers, and staff? This program will get you on the way. Users can choose to learn what is important to them rather than having to learn "the whole language." There are no grammar or complex rules to memorize. Topics, words and phrases to be covered include:
- Basic Spanish pronunciation
- Numbers & measures
- Days, months, dates
- Asking questions
- Employee attributes
- Employment rules & expectations
- Safety concerns
- Meeting & greeting
- Directions & locations
- Telling time
- Job commands
- English-Spanish body chart
- Job performance evaluation
- Accidents & emergencies
Workshop resources: Each participant will receive one learning kit which includes a manual, an audio program and a quick translation aide.
Participants will learn and practice words and phrases commonly used in the workplace.
This program is designed for anyone wanting to learn to communicate conversationally in Spanish. No prior competency in the Spanish language is required. Ideal for co-workers in a diverse language environment as well as English-speaking supervisors of Hispanic employees.
