The BU Public Markets Investing Group is excited to welcome Hannah Grove, Chief Marketing Office of State Street Corporation. This event will take place Tuesday December 6th at 6pm in the Law Building, Room 204.
Ms. Grove leads the brand, media relations, employee communications, creative, content, and event management teams across the company. Under Ms. Grove’s leadership, the global team supports the company’s revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention, and serves to positively influence all constituencies’ understanding of State Street. Hannah also serves as executive sponsor for State Street Pride, the company’s LGBT employee network and as a founder of “Leading Women”, a mentoring program for senior women across the company.Prior to joining State Street in 1998, Ms. Grove was marketing director for the Money Matters Institute, a collaborative between the United Nations and the World Bank that sought to foster sustainable development in emerging economies.With dual citizenship of both the UK and the US, early in her career Ms. Grove owned and operated a public relations company in London, England. She came to the US as communications director of the World Economic Development Congress in Washington, DC.Ms. Grove serves as a board member of All In Together, a non-partisan organization focused on engaging women in public policy. She formerly served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Women’s Lunch Place, a daytime community in Boston for disadvantaged women.

BU PMIG Speaker Series
Boston University’s Public Markets Investing Group (PMIG) seeks to bring together like-minded students from a variety of backgrounds and areas of study. Weekly hands-on discussions with the PMIG Analysts teach the hard and soft skills, and are for well-rounded students with high potential and leadership ability. In addition to these meetings, PMIG hosts a Speaker Series, where students from all BU schools and grade levels are invited to hear from, and meet, prominent and distinguished individuals from a variety of fields. Some of our former guests include Alan Trefler, CEO of Pegasystems and the first billionaire a student group has ever brought to campus, and Abigail Doolittle, Founder of Peak Theories Research and Market Strategist at Greenbush Financial who has been on CNBC multiple times. Our speakers have extremely diverse backgrounds and experiences, many stories to share, and amazing connections in a range of different professions. Our speakers are always excited to enlighten the students!
