The Mann Family ECC and Greening Our Children - Los Angeles

We are trying to form a Los Angeles based community of like-minded individuals dedicated to protecting children and families from unsafe and untested chemicals in our everyday environment. We want to do this by educating the community and bringing public awareness to the reality that environmental causes of diseases-- such as autism, learning disabilities, allergies, asthma, obesity and childhood and adult onset cancer-- are preventable.  We want to support and champion like-minded organizations in the nonprofit, medical and public health arenas that work to safeguard the rights of those who are most vulnerable to exposure.  Coordinating the diverse efforts of environmental groups into a unified voice for change is our goal.  Through various initiatives we hope to inspire a movement in environmental health that prompts a shift in manufacturing practices and rallies the public behind reform.  Please join us for this exciting kick off event!   Please email Jennifer Stein Simms for more information if you would like to become more involved - jenstein117@icloud.com
