Event description

Description

  • Do you use Azure?
  • Do you know who or what uses up most of your Azure budget?
  • Is your cloud computing bill bigger than anticipated?
  • Do you want to learn how to control your Azure spend?

Controlling costs in the cloud is rapidly becoming a C-level headache. The benefits of cloud are obvious but unless governance is put in place, costs can rapidly escalate resulting in cloud shock*

* Cloud Shock refers to that particular moment when the budget holder (or CFO) realises that the company has spent considerably more on cloud-based projects than they originally expected.

In this half-day interactive workshop run by Asad Khan, an Azure specialist from SoftwareONE, you will learn the five steps savvy organisations are taking to ensure that cloud costs are not just kept under control, but are optimised.

Learn best practice, share real life challenges and examples with your peers, and leave with a plan to take back control.

This workshop is suitable for senior IT decision makers or C-suite individuals responsible for IT spend from organisations who have already moved to Azure or who are planning on moving.

A light breakfast and lunch will be included. Arrive from 8.30am for breakfast with the workshop content commencing at 9.30.
