Controlled Party Dispersal (CPD) Training
Tue, March 21, 2017, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
The Controlled Party Dispersal Training was developed to assist law enforcement agencies in better management of underage drinking parties. The training offers 4 hours of free TCOLE credit. The goal of the training is to demonstrate how to properly manage the party, discover the adult providers, involve parents, and discourage future participation. Conducting a proper dispersal of an underage drinking party can result in a safer community as well as prevent injuries and death.
The session offers both classroom and practical hands-on training. The content includes:
Defining the Problem
Overview of CPD Training
Implementation of a CPD Training Including Initial Response, Sweep & Control and Processing
Additional Support Resources
Live Demonstration of a CPD
Debrief & Review
At the end of the CPD training, participants will have information and resources to take back to their communities to successfully implement a CPD training.
