Contributing to the Bigger Picture

Aberdeen Studio and Make Nashville connected through the shared belief that creativity is innate in each one of us, and that its practice is essential not only to our individual wellbeing, but to the wellbeing of our community and society as a whole. Together, we have planned an exciting evening for you to experience the fun and beauty of creating alongside others.

You will be given the opportunity to choose between painting with Aberdeen and Maggie Sanger, or fashioning a ceramic mask with Make Nashville and Judith Kenigson. Regardless of which craft you choose, you will be creating “roulette” style - meaning, each person gets to work on a piece for a time, until it is passed to another person to work on. This process continues until everyone has contributed to each other’s work, creating a memorable experience embodied in a unique and collaborative piece of art.
