This CalBRE approved course will give students detailed information on the four basic contract agreements that residential real estate agents work with on a daily basis. It is important that every real estate agent, whether they are representing the buyer or the seller, have a thorough understanding of the forms they are using in a real estate transaction.

• Buyer Broker Exclusive Agreement
• Residential Purchase Agreement
• Counteroffer Agreement
• Understanding statutory disclosures
• Defining contingencies
• Controlling liability
• Confirmation of acceptance
• Understanding the terms of the contract

Instructor: Kevin Burke
Kevin M. Burke, JD obtained his real estate license in 1977; he obtained his juris doctorate in 1996, graduating with the American Jurisprudence Award in Real Estate Transactions! Mr. Burke is a Broker Associate at Burke Real Estate Consultants, Inc. and teaches numerous college level courses, including Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and, Legal Aspects of Real Estate!
Reservations for programs requiring payment will not be processed until payment is received. If you must cancel your reservation, a maximum refund of 85% of the program cost will be issued if the cancellation is received in writing three days prior to the course date. A non-refundable 15% of the program cost will be assessed for processing fees. GSDAR reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any program. If cancellation occurs, GSDAR will issue a full refund. In the event of rescheduling, GSDAR will send immediate notification and transfer all reservations (including payments) to the new date.
