About this event
The Contra Costa Labor Council Community Services program is holding a fundraiser to raise funds to help union members and their families that are experiencing financial hardships caused by a strike, lay-offs, or furloughs.
PLEASE JOIN IN PARTICIPATING IN FUNDRAISING FOR THE CONTRA COSTA LABOR COUNCIL’S COMMUNITY SERVICES MEMBER HARDSHIP FUND TO HELP SUPPORT MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING TIMES OF NEED!!!
HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE YOU ASK?
WALK for WORKERS join the walkathon and raise money for union members in need
- Saturday. June 11th Time: Walker check-in begins at 8:30am
- Contra Costa Labor Council 3331 Pine Street Martinez, CA
- Walk Route 1.5 miles: Start at the Contra Costa Labor Council, walk to Martinez Waterfront, and back
CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO RAISE AT LEAST $100 IN PLEDGE DONATIONS. Example of how to raise funds: Get 4 sponsors to give $25 pledge donations = $100
TO WALK YOU MUST REGISTER on Eventbrite: Walkathon registration includes
- Emailed Printable Sponsor Letter & Collection Form
- Emailed Walker Instructions
- FREE T-Shirt - Redeem the day of
- FREE Lunch - Provided the day of
- PRIZE A & AWARD- for top fundraisers
**** Invite your friends, family, and community to participate in fundraising or to join after the walk on Saturday, June 11th from 10am to 12pm for fun for all ages, activities, games, prize giveaways, and more!
