Continuing to Grow Your Coaching System - Virtual

This virtual VTSS event will be held on October 16 from 8:30 - 1:00

Description of Event:

Join us for another VTSS Garden Party to learn more about continuing to grow your system for coaching. Gather with other VTSS division leaders to dig deeper and discuss how to:

Examine the plants: What are the guidelines for selecting coaches?

Create a pruning, weeding and watering schedule: How will time be allocated for coaching BITs and school staff?

Decide when to harvest the garden: What decision-making authority will coaches have?

Plan the harvest: How is the delivery of coaching planned?

Communicate the harvest plan: How will coaches communicate to others?

Measure the harvest: How do we monitor and measure coaching effectiveness?

Audience:

This session is designed for division teams who are actively developing or refining their instructional coaching systems. You’ll benefit most from attending if:

✅ Your team has begun working on a coaching system and is ready to deepen its impact.

✅ You’ve had team members attend "Growing Your Coaching System" and are looking to build on that foundation.

✅ You’ve made progress on the action items identified in your initial planning and are ready for the next phase.

✅ You’re seeking structured support, collaboration, and expert guidance to move your coaching system forward.

Whether you're refining roles, strengthening feedback loops, or scaling your system across schools, this session will help you take meaningful next steps.

Learning Intentions:

• Identify a process for selecting coaches
• Determine how time for coaching is allocated and protected
• Define the decision making authority of coaches and expectations for planning and communication
• Develop a plan to monitor coaching fidelity and effectiveness

This training is for PK-12 educational professionals in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We reserve the right to cancel registrations of individuals who do not meet this criteria.
