Description

This continuing education session allows for 30 onsite participants and 50 virtual attendees. Refreshments for onsite participants will be provided.

Onsite and virtual attendance is free. Onsite attendees may park in the Wharton Center parking ramp, which is directly across Wilson Rd. from the Hospital. The webinar link will be emailed to all virtual attendees. This webinar will be recorded for future viewing.

Jacob Rubin, DVM, DACVS, is a surgeon for the Soft Tissue Surgery team at the MSU Veterinary Medical Center. Rubin completed his DVM in 2011 at The Ohio State University. He then completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Florida, followed by his residency in small animal surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2014, he was awarded 2nd place in the annual ACVS Resident’s Forum for his research entitled “Factors associated with pathologic fractures in dogs with Appendicular bone neoplasia.” He also has received many other honors and awards from The Ohio State University and Muhlenberg College, where he completed his BS in 2007.

Rubin is PennHip certified, and is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the AVMA. His current research interests include brachycephalic airway disease, feline ureteral surgery, and minimally invasive surgery.
