Context Matters: Evidence-Based Rehabilitation Across Diverse Settings:

Join ADAPT's annual online conference where we will explore the importance of context in evidence-based rehabilitation across various settings.

This year, our conference plans to bring together practical experiences from different cultural contexts of how research is being translated into practice, and ask ourselves the question, how do we match “best practice” evidence from high-income settings into the diverse contexts in which we work? We want to look at the way global south and global north research is shared and contextualised (or not)!

Purpose of the day:

  • To bring together practical experiences from different cultural contexts of how research is being translated into practice
  • To consider the contextualising of physiotherapy evidence: How do we match “best practice” evidence from high-income settings into the diverse contexts in which we work?
  • Bringing together speakers with expertise in research and clinicians from the global south and north contextualising evidence-based research.

Practical information:

This event will be held on Zoom. The joining link will be sent to you closer to the day alongside the full line-up of speakers.
