Event Details

ContentATX2 is a second annual conference focused on storytelling. It is geared toward content creators and entrepreneurs and focuses on writing, video, photos, podcasting, blogging, books, social media and other creative ways to tell a story.

9:00 a.m. Registration begins - Coffee, Juice, Banana Bread, Yogurt, and Bananas while they last. 

9:30 a.m. . to 10 a.m. - The importance of Design in Presentations by Luke Goetting, founder of Puffingston, award-winning presentation design firm based in Austin.

10:00 a.m. to 10:30 - Content Marketing by Geoffrey Brown with Main Street Hub, a GoDaddy company. 

10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. - Latest Trends in Social Media by Spredfast's Steve Nash, Social & Analytics Strategist, and Samantha Lopez, Social Media Strategist.

11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Building a Brand Through Blogging - presenter:  Austin Blogger Jesse Coulter.  BIO: "Jesse founded her lifestyle blog in 2011 with a desire to utilize her marketing education and creative ideas as a side hobby. Today, she has merged her career and passions into one. By day she is a marketing manager, and by night she is a lifestyle blogger. When she is not working, she is wrangling her three children and planning kid-less vacations with her husband. She is an open book and enjoys taking her readers along her life's greatest joys and struggles."


11:30 .a.m. to Noon -  Determine Your Video Marketing Strategy - Video isn't a luxury anymore - you must have a video strategy to communicate with your audience today by Amanda Horvath, the videographer with Amanda Horvath. 

Noon to 12:30 p.m.. - Lunch, networking, and Champagne.

12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Keynote Talk: “Creating New Stories, The Hard and Slow Way” by Robyn Metcalfe, founder of Food+City.

1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Q&A on Design and Innovation with Doreen Lorenzo, assistant dean of the School of Design and Creativity at the University of Texas at Austin. She's a thought leader on design and innovation. She previously served as president of Frog Design Inc. and Quirky.

2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Influencer Marketing EatingATX and the "Queens of Instagram:" Lindsay Vandygriff, born and raised in Austin, runs with her sister, Morgan, one of the most popular food Instagram accounts @eatingATX with nearly 60,000 followers. They have perfected the art of photographing food in fascinating settings with great lighting and effects. And Austin Way Magazine named them one of Austin's top social media influencers.
