About this event

N.C. Cooperative Extension in Guilford County and the Extension Master Gardener program invite you to join us for:

Container Edibles: Grow a Cool Season Salad

Thursday August 12, 2021, 6pm to 7pm

This is an ONLINE SEMINAR via ZOOM, presented by our Master Gardener volunteers.

Even if you have limited room, sun, or time, containers can give you a productive and personal garden space. Fall is a great time to start because the salad crops thrive in the cooler temperatures. Grow some of your own vegetables and herbs to eat better and also save on your food budget! We'll cover all the basics of the best ways to do it: with the right location, good timing, an easy plan, and a little tending.

The talk is free - registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link.

This session will not be recorded. A program Handout providing links to abundant resources and in-depth information will be made available to registrants via the email address provided in a reminder email, a few days before the talk. The Handout will also be accessible after the session on our website.

If you encounter problems registering or if you have questions, please contact Lauren at lrallen@ncsu.edu or 336-641-2400.
