CONSTRUCTION QUALITY MANAGEMENT FOR CONTRACTORS (CQM-C)
This course is recognized by agencies such as AFCEE, US Coast Guard, VA, and Parks & Recreation Department. This course meets one of the NAVFAC and USACE requirements for Quality Control Manager appointment.

Day 1: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (Breakfast and Lunch Provided)

Day 2: 7:30 am - 11:00 am (Breakfast Provided)

Course Description:This two-day course provides Contractor Quality Control personnel as well as Government Quality Assurance personnel with the policies and procedures used in post-award construction. This class is taught by a qualified NAVFAC/USACE appointed instructors, and is supplemented with DVD presentations, workbook exercises, and encourages participation through class discussions. The course offers prospective QC Managers / Administrators the opportunity to satisfy the CQM-C training requirements specified in most USACE and NAVFAC construction contracts.

This course must be taken, and the closed book final test must be passed with a 80%, by any person aspiring to be the QC Manager / Administrator or alternate. The course must be taken within 45 calendar days of the award of a construction contract. The Contractors Quality Control (CQC) requirements and the Governments Quality Assurance (QA) roles are reviewed. A course certificate will be awarded to those who satisfactory complete the training and pass the final exam. The certificate is valid for a five-year period from the date of the class.

Instructed by: Larry J Smith - Approved USACE CQM-C InstructorLarry Smith is an Independent Consultant working with numerous Construction, CM and Engineering firms for best practices, schedule review and analysis, and dispute resolution. Larry is a Professional Civil Engineer and Certified Construction Manager. Larry has managed and directed a diverse team of engineers and construction managers executing Civil Works and Military Construction Programs for over 40 years.

Cancellations and/or Changes Policy: Cancellation notification must be received in writing no later than three business days prior to the scheduled course date. Substitute registrants can be named at any time. A full refund - minus a 5% processing fee if paid by credit card - will be given if notification is received by AGC San Diego three business days prior to the course start date. If a cancellation is received within the three business day time frame, or if registrant(s) elects not to attend, attendee will forfeit the entire course fee. Those participants using using AGC Journeyman Trust funds must adhere to the cancellation policy. If a late cancelation or NO SHOW occurs the participanting COMPANY and not the AGC Apprenticeship Trust is liable for the tuition.
