Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors
San Diego, CA: January 19-20
Time: Day 1 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Light Breakfast and Lunch Provided)
Day 2 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM or as soon as you've completed the exam (Light Breakfast and Lunch Provided)
The purpose of this two-day class is to provide Contractor Quality Control Personnel as well as Government Quality Assurance Personnel with the policies and procedures used in post-award construction. This class is taught by a qualified NAVFAC/USACE appointed instructor and is supplemented with DVD presentations, workbook exercises and encourages participation through class discussions, breakout sessions, and case study exercises. Students will be provided with a student workbook and are also required to bring the materials listed below. This course meets one of the NAVFAC & USACE requirements for Quality Control Manager appointment.
Course Completion Requirements
To successfully complete the course, students must fulfill the following requirements:
1. Participate in class and satisfactorily complete all in-class assignments.
2. Be present for both days of class and achieve a passing grade of 80% on the closed book, closed note, multiple choice written exam given at the end of the course.
A certificate will be issued to all students who satisfactorily complete the course and is valid for 5 years.
Sample Project Documents
Each student must bring their own sample Project CQC Plan from a very recent and completed project for your use and comparison during class discussions.
If you do not have a CQC Plan, we will email you a plan 1 week prior to the class start date.
