Event description
Join the Russell Kirk Center for a one-day seminar titled “Conservatism: Then and Now” with historian Dr. George Nash.

About this event

On July 23, the Kirk Center will hold a one-day seminar titled “Conservatism: Then and Now” with Dr. George Nash. Dr. Nash is the author of The Conservative Intellectual Movement in America; Since 1945, Reappraising the Right: The Past and Future of American Conservatism, and Books and the Founding Fathers, among other works. A Senior Fellow of the Kirk Center, he is a frequent lecturer and has been interviewed by PBS, C-SPAN, and NPR.

The event begins at 10 a.m. with a tour of the Russell Kirk library, includes lunch at the Kirk home, and concludes at 3:00 p.m. While the majority of the Center’s seminars are for students or specific organizations, this seminar is open to the public. Registration is limited to 30 people. We look forward to welcoming participants this summer to the Russell Kirk Center--the home of the conservative intellectual tradition in America.
