Join Global Family Travels and Wide World Books & Maps on Saturday, January 25th, to learn about conservation efforts of the African Painted Dog, a highly endangered species, and our community-based 2017 safari to Zimbabwe that we have designed to support these efforts.
Two special guest speakers, Carrie Culp, Executive Director and Founder of the Painted Dog Research Trust USA, and Dr. Greg Rasmussen, Founder of Zimbabwe's Painted Dog Research Trust, will give an engaging presentation on what efforts are being taken to help conserve the species, as well address how community-based tourism has benefited the protection of the dog.
With the help of Dr.Rasmussen and Carrie, we will also review our 2017 itinerary for Zimbabwe Safari and Painted Dog Adventure and learn more about how we can contribute to this worthy cause to help protect the Painted Dogs.
