Conservation Cropping Systems Workshops: for Certified Crop Advisors

In these workshops, students will learn details about no‐till management, including nutrient and pest management, how to adjust no‐till planters, how to advise farmers on details like planter clinics, etc. Students will gain the ability to work with farmers one on one to obtain a successful no‐till system. March 21*: Cover Crop Training, Purdue University's Agronomy Center for Research and Education Diagnostic Training Center (4540 U.S. 52, West Lafayette, IN)
Students will leave this workshop feeling comfortable in advising farmers on how to choose cover crops that work best with their current system, as well as learn to use tools like the Midwest Cover Crops Council Selector Tool and the NRCS Seeding Tool.
