Event description

Description

You want more, better, deeper connections with others, but you just can't seem to force yourself to open up. Saying hello to a stranger makes you break out in a cold sweat, and the thought of parties makes you want to run for the hills. You are afraid of scrutiny so you never let anyone get close enough to do it to you, even though you crave the love and affection that comes with full, healthy relationships.

If you find yourself experiencing this struggle, then please consider joining our course on Conquering Social Anxiety. These four classes are focused on learning how social anxiety develops, practicing techniques to connect with others, and exploring common barriers to forming relationships. The course will guide participants towards improving their courage and social skills so that they may take the next steps towards healthy connections.

Our course is split between two Saturdays and is located at the Andrew Bayne Memorial Library.

11:00am: Theory and Understanding of Social Anxiety

12:30pm: Social Skills and Assertive Communication

Saturday, November 10, 2018

12:30pm: Dating and Romance
