Earn a Housing Credit Compliance Professional (HCCP) Designation

An optional Housing Certified Compliance Professional (HCCP) Exam is offered on the third day of this course. The HCCP exam is offered separately from the training and is open to anyone who would like to take the HCCP exam. One does not have to take the course in order to take the exam. The HCCP is a specialized designation through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) for developers, property managers, asset managers, and other professionals working with the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.

Requirements for achieving the HCCP Designation

Minimum of two experience in the LIHTC industry by graduation (Those who fail to meet this requirement may consider themselves an HCCP-Candidate until reaching two years of experience.)

  • A total of 10 hours of LIHTC training
  • Adherence to the HCCP Code of Ethics
  • Successful completion of the HCCP Exam ($2045 fee online)years

Meet Amanda Lee Gross

Ms. Gross has eighteen years of hard-won, real-world knowledge and experience in all aspects of the affordable housing industry. She has learned the affordable housing industry from the ground up, starting as a site manager, eventually rising to the position of Compliance Director for a multi-state, 5,000+ unit management company. Ms. Gross has leveraged that experience and became a nationally recognized expert trainer in Fair Housing, LIHTC, RD, HUD, and HOME. Over the last eight years, she has conducted hundred of training nationwide, and has provided consulting services to State Housing Finance Agencies, Public Housing Authorities, management companies, and developers.

Ms. Gross is a featured speaker at numerous industry events every year. She also provides custom-tailored trainings to private organizations who understanding that highly-trained staff are more effective and better able to protect the assets and reputation of companies. She also works in a consulting capacity, advising clients in the development of their policies and procedures, optimizing project compliance performance, and addressing audit findings.
