"It's dark, cold, and the bed is so inviting. That gym membership hasn't been used for weeks. I'm so tired, my face is dry, my pants are tight. First, it was cottage season, then Halloween binge, then Jane's birthday party, then grandma's retirement party, and now the holidays are coming up. I am probably going to overeat and feel like crap. Maybe I'll gain 5 lbs. Whatever, who cares. The year is almost over and January is coming up. I'll set a new resolution and finally lose that 10 lbs. This is THE year!"

Then I invite you to please join me for a nutrition workshop on the topic, for a good cause. I'm Parastoo. I'm a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Personal Trainer, with a BA in Communications. Trust me; I GET IT. Oh the things I have done to myself, and the things I have discussed with my clients! Allow me to share my experience, education, and expertise with you. On December 10, we will:

  • Discuss nutrition fads and diets
  • Learn food facts impacting the community (with a guest speaker!)
  • Learn nutrition fundamentals to overcome binging and restricting
  • Enjoy social gatherings, like the holidays, without depriving or punishing yourself or feeling guilty
  • Create realistic and achievable goals. No more repeat January resolutions!
  • Implement actionable tips right away to develop a more sustainable approach to food and fitness
