Connections Matter is CHIentist's Annual Signature Event. This year our program focuses on getting involved in the local Chicago STEM Community, featuring short talks from leaders from Chicago STEM organizations. Speakers:

1. Alexandra “Sasha” Prokuda, PhD, is the Director of Programs and Engagement at the Chicago Council on Science and Technology (C2ST).

2. Dima Elissa, MBA, Impassioned serial techpreneur, mentor, investor, educator focused on unleashing the Entrepreneur Within... individuals and companies.

3. Jackie Lomax is the Executive Director of Girls 4 Science, provide hands on experience and professional mentorships to girls of minority descent. Girls 4 Science insures that girls no longer be left behind in the fields of science and technology due to money or resources.

This event will also feature structured networking with individuals in the Chicago STEM community.
