On December 15th, Educators Amy Silverman and Robert Kandell will take you on a three hour journey exploring the Masculine and Feminine. Through discussion, exercises, Q&A and more, we will provide some concrete skills for you to know yourself, your partners and enjoy life and have richer intimacy.

About “Masculine” and “Feminine”
We’ve noticed that current online dictionaries (and society) tend to define Masculine as qualities attributed to men such as strength, brawny, and power. The same dictionaries define Feminine as qualities attributed to women such as softness, gentleness or pretty.

However, this is a very incomplete definition of these two complex terms. We dig a little bit deeper to find...
FEMININE TRAITS: Surrender, Receptivity, Empathy, Radiance, Flow, Sensuality, Nurturing, Affection, Sharing, Tenderness, Patience, Loving

MASCULINE TRAITS: Freedom, Direction, Logic, Focus, Integrity, Stability, Passion, Independence, Discipline, Confidence, Aware, Strength
(Source: http://ryzeonline.com/feminine-masculine-traits/)

Its obvious that all traits described above could easily be attributed to either a man or a woman. Therefore, the old school definitions are not working. To make things more complicated, we are living in a world of many more genders than two. In 2014, Facebook identified 58 different gender options.

Author David Deida speaks frequently around the concept of Polarity and that all sexual excitement occurs in the difference between one person holding the masculine pole with the other holding the feminine.

Join us for an interactive evening where we’ll experiment with our own Masculine and Feminine definitions and identities.

About Connection Labs
Connection Labs are fun and playful evenings that incorporate social games which invite us beneath the surface and into a deeper experience of ourselves and others.

These authenticity games are highly-interactive group and paired exercises that explore ways of seeing, connecting, appreciating yourself and others at a deeper level. They are a safe and structured way for us to go beyond small talk and beyond superficial appearances.

It’s an opportunity for us to have fun and celebrate with great people who are also wanting to explore what’s possible in connection.

Come by yourself, come with a friend, come with a partner - Everyone is welcome!
