This event is ideal for LGBTQ+ small business owners, side-hustlers, and “wantrepreneurs'' will help you solve these problems and more. Allies are welcomed.

Travers Johnson (he/him) is an award-winning content strategist and editor with 15 years of experience in digital media, digital marketing, and book publishing. He’s the Founder & CEO of Queerency, an LGBTQ+ business media startup, and also the Creator of LGBTQ+ Business Week, an annual 7-day celebration of queer-owned small businesses. He is a Forbes contributor who covers topics at the intersection of the queer economy and the creator economy, and he has worked for and with industry leading companies including Mailchimp, Penguin Random House, Edelman, and Scholastic. He was trained at Morehouse College and Georgetown University and is a winner of the Google News Initiative Pitchfest and the Maynard Institute Media Entrepreneurship Award.





Chris Angel Murphy, MSW (they/them) is an award-winning LGBTQ+ speaker, trainer, and consultant who is neuroqueer and nonbinary. They have a background in social work and over 14 years of experience with LGBTQ+ community organizing. As the owner of Gender Sexuality Info, LLC, they provide various services and products to businesses, nonprofits, the LGBTQ+ community and those who support them. Chris Angel is a connector at heart, and the host of Allyship is a Verb, a double Ambie-nominated podcast.
