Description

The Multicultural efforts to End Sexual Assault is partnering with Prevent Child Abuse Indiana and the Minority Health Coalition to create a four part workshop series. Each workshop is FREE and open to anyone and each workshop will focus on another aspect of connecting sexual violence prevention and child abuse prevention to larger efforts to end interpersonal violence and food insecurity in marginalized and under served communities. This form will register you for Workshop 4 only.

Workshop 1 includes the following sub topics: "Connecting Risk and Protective Factors for Sexual Violence with Food Insecurity and Nutrition Education" by MESA and "Stewards of Children" by PCAIN.

Workshop 2 includes the following subtopics: "Communicating Across Difference and Having Difficult Dialogues for Prevention of Sexual Violence and Food Insecurity" by MESA and "Child Abuse 101/201" by PCAIN.

Workshop 3 includes the following subtopics: "Mainstream service organization best practices for working with Migrant Farmer Worker and Low Wage Latinx Immigrant communities to Prevent Sexual Violence and Food Insecurity" by MESA and "Safe Tots" by PCAIN.

Workshop 4 includes the following subtopics: "Best practices for medical and service professionals working with LGBTQ+ communities and across disability" by MESA and "Bullying Prevention" by PCAIN.

Please notice that you do NOT have to attend all the workshops to attend one of them - but we encourage you attending as many as possible!

While registration is free, we ask that you bring your own lunch!
