Event description
Connecting and Integrating Children’s and Youth Ministry Across the Church with the Rev. Caroline Ainsworth Hughes

About this event

Zoom | February 2 | 12 - 1:30 pm EST

So often our churches segment children’s ministry and youth ministry as if they were unrelated efforts. This presentation aims to equip lay and clergy leaders to take a wholistic view and approach to ministry with young people. We will discuss ways to join the programming we do with children to those programs offered to older youth, locate ways to integrate both into the life of the church, and discern where God is moving our ministries as we continue to emerge from the pandemic.

Rev. Caroline Ainsworth Hughes serves as the Minister for Christian Formation at the Wilton Congregational Church in Wilton, Connecticut. There she gets to put her many years of children’s and youth ministry to work serving children and families of the congregation and wider community.

Rev. Hughes received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University (B.S. 2008) and her Master of Divinity from Princeton Seminary (2020). She is married to her husband Jake and the two live in New York City with their young son, Henry.
