Join the Connecticut Wing Commander, Colonel Ken Chapman, for a fun filled day of activities, awards and comradery at the Third Annual Connecticut Wing Fly-In and Conference. Families and guests are welcome.
This year the conference will be held in four locations:
Connecticut Fire Academy – Registration/Sign-in. Lunch. Tour of Fire Academy. Water Survival Qualification Course. Red Cross Ground Damage Assessment Course. Red Cross Emergency Shelter Course. Location: 34 Perimeter Rd, Windsor Locks, CT
103rd Airlift Wing, Air National Guard Base – Courses and departmental meetings. MUST REGISTER AT LEAST TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE TO GAIN BASE ACCESS. Location: 100 Nicholson Rd, East Granby, CT
New England Air Museum - Courses, Drone Racing, Cadet Individual Drill and Ceremonies Knock-Out Competition, Exhibit Tours, Awards, Change-of-Command Ceremony and much more! Location: 36 Perimeter Rd, Windsor Locks, CT
Sheraton Hartford Hotel at the Bradley Airport - Recommended hotel for members/guests -- the hotel has offered a discounted group rate of $99.00 for rooms for Friday night. Shuttle to and from the fire academy, museum and 103rd ANG base will be provided if requested in advance. Hotel is the location of the wing commander's reception on Friday evening at 7PM -- reserved for Senior Members and Adult Guests. There will be a cash bar and food for purchase.
We will be introducing some exciting Emergency Services courses: Water Survival Qualification Course for Aircrew, Red Cross Damage Assessment Course and Red Cross Emergency Shelter Course. There is an additional fee for the Water Survival (WS) Course to cover the pool rental. The water survival course is limited to members who are at least 18 years old.

Refunds: $10 fee for refunds prior to May 5. After May 5, refunds are not possible because of fixed and nonrefundable financial obligations based on number of members/guests registered.
Alternate Payment: If you are not able to register and pay by credit card on Eventbrite, contact the Wing Administrator, Pamela Walters, at email@example.com for alternate payment methods. Units can sign-up multiple members/guests by wing banker transfer.
Overnight aircraft parking: Aircraft remaining at the FBO overnight will be charged a fee by the FBO. The PIC is responsible for paying that fee directly to the FBO.
FBO Details: Signature Flight Support, 100 Signature Way, East Granby, CT. 860-623-4955. Please inform the tower that your destination is Signature Aviation, adjacent to the National Guard facility.
Uniform is Utility: BDU's, Flight Suit, Blue Polo or equivalent
