Connecticut Business Day (WALK-INS WELCOME)
Event Information
Description
Networking and Registration: 7:15 am | Program: 8:05-11:30 am
Hundreds of business leaders from across the state will come to the Legislative Office Building to urge state lawmakers to adopt proposals that can help solve Connecticut’s fiscal and economic challenges.
The program will include:
- Roundtable discussion between legislative leaders and business representatives
- Top issues breakouts focusing on the state budget, transportation, and labor and employment
- Regional meetings between legislators and their constituents
Hanging in the balance this year is whether policymakers will make the right decisions to get the state back on track. With the state’s economy strengthening, now is not the time to put the brakes on job growth.
Connecticut Business Day is sponsored by CBIA and the Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, and supported by the CT20x17 campaign.
