Event description
Connect+Government will explore ways that governments can help alleviate loneliness and promote social well-being.

About this event

Join us for the next event in the Connect+Conversations series! This session will focus on the government's role in supporting solutions for loneliness and approaches to improving social well-being.

You will learn about:

  • Current initiatives at local, federal, and global levels in the US and other countries
  • New opportunities for governments to have impact through legislation, funding, and leadership

You will also be able to ask the panelists questions, connect with other attendees in the chat, and share your perspective and ideas with small groups in breakout rooms. This event is open to all; you don't have to be a policy wonk or live in the US to find it interesting.

  • 60 min: Welcome, Panel Discussion, and Audience Q&A
  • 30 min: Small Group Discussions and Closing Remarks

The Series

The Connect+Conversations series is led by Social Health Labs and the Foundation for Social Connection with support from Commit to Connect, a national initiative of the US Department of Health & Human Services Administration for Community Living and AARP Foundation. You can watch recordings of past sessions here.
