CONNECT Workshop Series (December)
Event Information
About this Event
Teaching is hard. (Honestly, the hardest).
Add in a global pandemic, the uncertainty of when and where students will be, and the expectation you'll sleep and it's an educational nightmare.
We're gathering again to make new connections with people, ideas, and self-care practices. How can this year with all its challenges be an opportunity to elevate your teaching AND take care of yourself? How can this year be an opportunity to get to know your child more deeply as a learner, leader, and human?
Facilitated by Caitlin Botsios and Elizabeth Bogart, you will experience award-winning and international presenters who are educator-best friends. Connect will provide space to reflect on what you and your students need while preparing you to take your instruction and wellbeing to the next level in COVID-19.
Participants can anticipate:
- Real Talk mixed with Out of the Box Thinking
- Support during these uncertain times
- Practical Wellness tools to integrate into your life and teaching.
- Community building and project-based learning strategies to craft meaningful and successful instruction
Ultimately, participants will arm themselves with tools to foster connection amongst their students, a wider community of teachers, and foster a deeper connection within themselves to thrive in these uncertain times.
This has the potential to be the most innovative and meaningful school year of your teaching career! Through chaos and uncertainty, there is an opportunity to re-anchor ourselves in what matters most.
We have a chance to collaborate globally like never before.
Let's connect!
