Description

Learn about immigrant rights, and how you can get involved!

This event is intended for anyone who is interested in learning about resources available to immigrants in Maryland, becoming a volunteer, and connecting with fantastic organizations that need your help.

The agenda includes:

4:00pm-5:00pm - Presentation:

Government shutdown over a wall – how did we get here and how can we help? U.S. immigration reform repeatedly fails to recognize the positive contributions from our immigrant neighbors. 5:00pm-6:00pm - Networking Event: Meet organizations that serve immigrants and need your help!

6:00pm-7:00pm - Breakouts on Hot Topics
