Conifer Identification Workshop ONLINE - Evening
Event Information
About this Event
What makes a conifer a conifer and how can you tell them apart?
What do these magnificent trees do for the environment and how have humans made use of them in the past, or currently use them in present times? Join Kew trained ethnobotanist, Jennie Martin, for this online workshop to find out some of the answers!
During your two hours together, you will have the chance to learn some of the key physical characteristics that will help you identify different conifers on your lockdown walks or during your environmental surveys. You will also be signposted to several resources that can help you with your continued learning.
You will be sent some conifer samples for this workshop, so please can you send your postal address when booking your tickets.
Jennie looks forward to sharing some botanical time together and please do get in touch if you have any further questions.
