We face many conflicts in our lives. We are told to accept the conflict; other times we are asked to ignore it. But what if we took a different approach?

Join us live with Dr. Maya Soetoro-Ng, a faculty specialist at the Spark M. Matsunaga Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, as she shares her new framework that transforms our approach to conflict.

Concepts like peace and love are often thought of in simplistic and idealistic abstractions. This session will instead present peace and love as brave, challenging, and multidimensional actions for healing. It will look at the importance of individual contribution to communal wellness, and it will explore conflict as an opportunity for understanding, solution building, and positive transformation.
